| Ename is located
in northwestern Europe, in the Dutch-speaking area of Belgium. It
is situated in the Province of East-Flanders, about 50 km west of
Brussels, and 20 km south of Ghent, on the eastern bank of the River
Scheldt, one of Belgium's two major rivers. The village of Ename is
today a district of the city of
Oudenaarde. Geographically, it is located in the Flemish Ardennes,
a hilly region in southwestern Flanders. |
